Biography
Dr. Vinh Chung is a board certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon.
He is a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He completed his dermatology residency at Emory University, where he served as Chief Resident. He stayed at Emory for a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. His training has focused on advanced techniques in skin cancer and reconstructive surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Chung has published numerous studies in leading medical journals. He has presented at national medical meetings including the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He received the prestigious Theodore Tromovitch Award, bestowed annually to only one Mohs Fellow in the country.
In his spare time, Dr. Chung enjoys playing basketball, running, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two sons. He also serves as an alumni interviewer for Harvard University.
