Vanguard Dermatology and Skin Cancer Specialists, Professional LLC was founded in the summer of 2009. Dr. Vinh Chung began the practice with a vision to make it the dermatology center of excellence in Colorado. Having trained at Harvard and Emory, he strives to achieve the same standards of premier medical care in Southern Colorado.

Priority for skin cancer
Southern Colorado has a tremendous need for skin cancer specialists, so we ensure that skin cancer patients are treated quickly and with the latest medical treatments. We maintain openings so that a skin cancer patient can be seen within two weeks and melanoma patients within 2 days. To ensure skin cancer patients receive care, regardless of their circumstances, we accept Medicaid for skin cancer treatment and have a financial assistance program.
Charitable giving
It is important to us that we give back to our community and the world at large. For the 2009 Christmas season, we have contributed $20,000 to World Vision. This organization helps those in need around the world and is highly regarded as an effectively run charity. In addition, Dr. Vinh Chung is personally grateful for the work they do. When he and his family were Vietnamese refugees in 1979, a World Vision ship rescued them from a sinking boat in the South China Sea.
